A flight attendant using the lavatory on an American Airlines flight out of Newark discovered a bomb threat written on a note that said "There's a bomb on board." The plane left Newark at 8:05 headed for Dallas. The plane landed moments later in Pittsburgh "due to a security concern" according to a spokesperson from the airline. Allegheny County authorities, federal and airport officials later cleared the plane to return to the air. The F.B.I. is investigating. The plane landed safely in Dallas just after 4:30 PM.
