My "Probably gained a few pounds" Weekend in Pictures

The weekend didn't start off being all about food but in the end it was. I did manage to get some work done outside the house in the front yard. One of our cats named Oreo decided to take a 24 hour vacation too. Meanwhile, my son Matt sent me some adorable pictures of my grand daughter Charlotte enjoying Disney World. So it all started with the monthly all you cab eat pancake and sausage breakfast at the United Methodist Church of Matamoras. Saturday morning's breakfast raised enough money to send two more of our youth group kids to bible camp. We had a great turnout and I ate two portions of pancakes and sausage deliciously prepared by my friends Tom and Jill. Saturday afternoon while I worked outside Denise went to the supermarket. I guess she was hungry. When I opened the refrigerator there was a package of fresh fried chicken and strawberry short cake. It wasn't even my birthday or Father's Day! The sweet eats continued on Sunday when my grandson Chris asked me to take him out for ice cream. I had chocolate soft serve while he had super hero with sprinkles. One more thing. Oreo finally returned home at 2AM Sunday. He took off out the patio door Friday afternoon. When he got back inside he promptly settled in far a nap!
