Years ago I asked a police officer what he liked best about his job during a WSUS interview. He said "helping people" and "everyday is different." State Troopers who patrol Route 78 in Union had an unexpected call just like that this past Wednesday. There was a tiny bear cub stranded in a ditch along the highway. Troopers rushed to the scene. They picked up the cute baby bear and put him in their cruiser. When they arrived back at the Perryville station officials from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection were called. They came and took custody of the cute cub. Before the officials arrived some adorable pictures were taken and posted on social media.
