Yesterday's snowstorm left thousands in Sussex County without power. If you're one of them, there are a few warming stations available in the area. Here's where you can charge your phone and warm up:

The Vernon Township Senior Center in the municipal building is open to residents. You're welcome to warm up, charge devices, and use the bathrooms. Coffee will be available.

The Franklin Firehouse is available as a warming center AS NEEDED. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please first contact the Franklin Police Department at (973) 827-7700 for further information.

The Sparta Township Office of Emergency Management has opened a GO2/ Warming Center at the Sparta Police Station. Please see their dispatchers if you wish to use this facility to charge up devices or warm up.

The Wantage Townhall is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm and the Beemerville Firehouse is open from 10am to 3pm as a warming station/charging station for residents.
