Wind Advisory Issued for Sussex & Warren Counties Plus Parts of PA

A wind advisory has been issued for Sussex and Warren counties along with parts of Pennsylvania. According to the National Weather Service, the advisory is in effect until 7pm tonight and includes Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton counties in PA.

They're predicting winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph and a chance of power outages due to downed tree limbs. NWS is encouraging everyone to use extra caution while driving and secure any outdoor objects that could get blown around.

A severe thunderstorm warning is also in effect until 11:30am for the following NJ areas:

  • Hunterdon County
  • Morris County
  • Central Sussex County
  • Southeastern Warren County
  • Somerset County
  • North central Middlesex County
