Backpack Snacks for Kids is our annual campaign to collect food for hungry school kids. Too many kids go home hungry on the weekends. Backpack Snacks helps where school programs leave off.

- Subaru World of Newton
- Visions Federal Credit Union in Augusta, Randolph and Hackettstown
Join us on Sunday, March 24 from 9am to 4pm for Backpack Snacks for Kids at the Franklin and Newton Weis Markets. WSUS will be broadcasting live from the Franklin Weis Markets and WNNJ will be live from Newton Weis Markets!
We're looking for shelf-stable food: juice boxes, granola bars, mac and cheese, and meals in a can. Everything we collect stays local and benefits hungry kids through the Sussex County Division of Social Services Food Pantry.
There will also be $5 donation pin ups for sale at each location with the funds going to Sussex County Division of Social Services Food Pantry.
