March 2019: Sparta Ambulance Squad (SAS)
SAS was formed in 1947 and continues to grow to this day with almost 90 members. The bulk of the membership are volunteers who are dedicated to covering the township of Sparta 24/7. Last year alone they responded to nearly 1400 calls.
