Christmas Festival of Lights at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church
SPARTA, N.J – Christmas Festival of Lights, all are welcome to join us at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church for our first Christmas tree lighting event.
The event will feature 30 + decorated trees donated by the members of the congregation on Saturday, December 7, 2024. The event will kick off with Lighting of the Trees at 4:00 PM.
The event kicks off with the lighting of the trees along with songs. A Live Nativity and a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus and their helpers. Children will be able to visit Santa and bring their letters or write a letter while there. There will be a mailbox for the letters so Santa can take them home with him. Get a story read to you by Mrs. Claus. Other stations with crafts for children. Snacks and drinks of hot chocolate, cookies, breads and muffins will be provided.
This event is free to everyone who attends. Donations of non-perishable pet food will-be welcome to support our mission to Father John’s and Hopatcong Animal Shelter.
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The congregation exists to welcome people to faith in Jesus Christ; to equip us with the tools to make that faith work in real life; and then send us in service into the world in Jesus’ name.
