It's been a long journey. I LOVE running. Last May, I ran my first ever 5K with my buddies at OSCAR One Step Closer Animal Rescue who help me with my Pet Of The Week. This race was also what sparked mine and Awesome Girlfriend Megan's relationship. I was extremely nervous training for the race, but I nailed it. Last Mother's Day weekend, I finished my first 5K in 26:12, coming in second place with my Demographic. Then last July, I hurt my back while sleeping resulting from stress. I've been rehabbing for many months with great massage therapists, chiropractors, electric stimulators, hot tubs, stretching, vitamins and magnesium, plus more! It's been quite the challenging adventure. My back is 85% back to normal, so why not start TODAY! This morning I hit the treadmill for the first time since last July. NOT pretty, but great first steps. A year ago I could run 6-7 miles, this morning, just one. Then I walked, then jogged, then walked, then jogged.
