It was announced this past Saturday that Adam West, best known for his portrayal of the campy 1960s TV version of Batman, died at the age of 88 after a battle with leukemia. He also voiced the character of Mayor Adam West in the hit animated series "Family Guy". For many of us who raced home to watch episodes of Batman where we had to tune in to find out what would happen to the caped crusader when caught in a seemingly impossible predicament, a part of our childhood was lost.
It was also revealed Adam West played a prank in his hometown of Sun Valley, Idaho. If you went to visit the area where he was living hoping to catch a glimpse of the legendary actor, one would simply look him up in the phone book.
