Is Black Friday starting to fade? Retailers are starting to learn that they can benefit from spreading sales over time instead of just going all out on one day. Apparently Super Saturday, the Saturday before Christmas has been bigger than Black Friday in recent years. The online movement is of course a major factor in this. I'm NOT a fan of retailers and their employees opening on Thanksgiving or before dawn on Black Friday. There are so many retail employees who have their Thanksgiving family time compromised, it's been annoying me for years. Yes, I did see in this article that there is still a large percentage who want to shop on Thanksgiving Day. I say YUCK. You can see the whole article and survey by clicking here.
