Just over 3 weeks ago, I fell on ice and fractured my wrist. I will take you with me on my journey! Thank you so much to Awesome Girlfriend Megan for being with me through good times and bad. My family and friends have been very supportive of me too. This has been one of the most physically and emotionally painful times of my life. The only reason my sneakers are tied is because Meg tied them for me. I'm constantly praying for low snowfall accumulations because I literally can't shovel myself. The appointment with my orthopedic doctor went great! She said my wrist is still healing well, and we are hopeful in 3 weeks I will be well enough to remove my new cast setup. YES!!! She gave me a cast setup that is below my elbow. Saturday morning I woke up poor Meg jumping up and down in my underwear, excited that it only took me a few seconds to get them on me as opposed to a longer situation when my cast went above the left elbow. Is she lucky, or what? ;) Every single day I'm getting closer to normal. As Wayne Dyer always stressed, we "don't have to be perfect, just better than we were yesterday.
