Former Glenwood Pochuck Ambulance Squad Captain Admits to Buying Child Porn

A former counselor at a Hardwick boys' summer camp pleaded guilty in Newark federal court to one count of producing child pornography on Monday July 16. Colin Skeele, 32, met the boy through his position at the camp and paid the boy to send nude photos.

This isn't Skeele's first time in court. Last year, in state Superior Court, he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 17-year-old cadet that he met while serving as captain of the Glenwood Pochuck Volunteer Ambulance Corps in Vernon. The sexual assault case won't be resolved until after the federal case has concluded.

In addition to working as an EMT and counselor, Skeele previously worked as a teacher at Boonton and Stirling parochial schools.

He will be sentenced on Oct. 22 and faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
