A Jersey lawmaker is seriously proposing a new tax on tap water! Are they really going to even tax our water? We already have among the highest costs of living in America, often ranking worst in property taxes. Earlier this week we discussed how all but 4 school systems in Sussex County are losing some state funding. We've been declining in population for many years partially due to our high cost of living in New Jersey. This plan would reportedly add $32 per year to your bills. This is aggressive! I grew up in Massachusetts which is often nicknamed "Taxachusetts," and this is right in step with that! The State Senator is apparently claiming this will help prevent us from ending up like Flint, Michigan?
