After 15 years, the Chatterbox on Routes 15 and 206 (Ross's Corner) has closed its restaurant for good. For locals and visitors, this was a unique stop for those on their way back from the ski resorts or those returning from their errands. The Chatterbox boasted a menu full of good eats and an atmosphere of a bygone era.
The Chatterbox closed its doors for the final time after Labor Day, but the memories of those who have experienced it still remain. NorthJersey.com has a wonderful article online on the passing of the restaurant and thoughts from the owner Don Hall, especially his thoughts of his 15 year run at the now legendary restaurant.
