Rutgers University is breaking ground on a $9.5 million Center For Adult Autism Services. If you have a loved one or friend who battles autism, you know very well this is a battle that doesn't simply end when they turn 18 and enter adulthood. That's one of the reasons this is one of my favorite stories all week. Full disclosure, Rutgers is also near and dear to my heart. Awesome Girlfriend Megan went to school there, now has a wonderful career in their Foundation Department, Awesome Daughter Caitlyn just graduated from there, and Awesome Daughter Hailey attends school at RU. Needless to say, I'm now a Rutgers boy and see the bright red R in my sleep.
