I extended my weekend by taking vacation days Thursday and Friday. On Thursday I took Gracie and Kim to The Land of Make Believe in Hope. I've always loved going there. It's the perfect place for families with younger kids and there are some awesome water park rides too. It was great going on the rides with Gracie. I could have spent the entire day in the lazy river. On Friday we went to the Orange County Fair and had more relaxing fun. The Ferris Wheel was pretty high but Kim, Gracie and I went on it anyway. I think we were all a little nervous. Saturday was another Subaru Saturday at Subaru World of Newton. We had a nice turn out and a couple of pets were adopted. My favorite pet was "Bear" a gentle giant. He's a beautiful Shepard mix who still needs a loving home. Each morning while I was off I did a little swimming and gardening. The tomatoes are finally ready! It looks like a very productive year. I also got a nice treat from my son James. A box of my favorite candy Mike and Ike's. It took a lot of will power to not finish the whole box Sunday Afternoon. It doesn't take much to make me happy!
