Saving Money Makes You Happier Than Spending It?

A survey by CIT Bank is showing that two thirds of us say that saving money makes us happier than spending it. I have been saying this for many years. I have friends of various income levels, and the overwhelming majority of them all love getting perceived value. I think I have purchased one pair of dress shoes at Woodbury a couple of years ago and was stunned that there wasn't some fake sale on it. The original price was $80, and I paid $80. Fair price for those brand of shoes I purchased. When I told my friends how pleasantly surprising it was to not see a token fake sale for a change, they all said wow, interesting.
