My "Couch and Calzone" Weekend in Pictures

Thank to my son Matt we now have Netflix. I've been wanting to give the service a try for a while now. When Matt's not watching now I can watch. Saturday Night I stayed up late to watch "The Irishman." Matt has never been into watching movies like "Goodfellas" or T.V. shows like "The Sopranos." So when he told me he enjoyed watching "The Irishman" I couldn't wait to stay up late Saturday Night and watch it. Growing up in Hudson County and remembering the events surrounding Jimmy Hoffa's disappearance made te film very interesting to me. My only problem with "The Irishman" is that it was just too long. The story could have been told in about 2 hours. Saturday morning was another "Subaru Saturday" at Subaru World of Newton. Quite a few people stopped by for a chance to win tickets to "Frozen" on Broadway and the New Jersey Devils. One happy Subaru Saturday buyer named Barbara made sure she came to my table to tell me what a great experience she had. Thank you Barbara. After Subaru World of Newton I was very hungry. I had to come back to WSUS and Tony's Pizza and Pasta in Hamburg was close. One of the lunch specials was a calzone with a large soda. The calzone I got was huge and delicious. I could only eat half. The rest of the calzone was my dinner. Sunday after church it was time to gather everything together for the trip to get my taxes done. I take my three son's taxes with me to get done as well. The big pile of forms and statements that was on my end table downstairs is now neatly organized. Gracie had a play date. When I looked in her room all of her toys were spread out on the floor. She is a character! Sunday night I started to watch the History Channel's mini series "Washington." So far it's been very well done. I love history and there's so much about Washington many people don't know. The letters to his wife Martha tell a beautiful love story. Monday I went home right after the show so I could go to the supermarket with Kim, Gracie and Christopher. Kim insisted on putting both kids in her cart. I didn't feel like pushing around a second cart. By the time we got to the check out the combinations of kids and food in our cart looked hilarious.
