200K will buy you an island at the Jersey Shore

Owning an island is a pretty cool idea. No Man's Island is just off the coast of Wildwood and according to the present owner the views are "Amazing." The island is 19 acres and sits between the New Jersey mainland and barrier island of the Wildwoods. In the past it's been owned by a local Wildwood family in the hotel and duck hunting business. According to NJ.COM Omer Fahim, a land investor from Queens paid $7,000 for the island back in 2017. He put the island up for sale hoping the state of New Jersey would buy it from him and make it a wetlands preserve. So far the state has not expressed any interest. So if you want it you can buy it now for 200K. One more thing, if you planned on building a beach house on the island that's not possible. All 19 acres are designated preserved wetland. You can't build anything there. Maybe someone will buy it eventually. No Man's Island sounds like it would be a pretty cool place to pitch a tent and go camping.
