Coronavirus Update: March 24 2020

No new cases of coronavirus were reported in Sussex County yesterday. The number of cases in New Jersey increased to 2,844. Bergen County now has almost 600 cases. Holy Name and Valley Hospitals are running low on supplies as more patients come in for help. There have been 27 deaths from coronavirus in New Jersey. Less than 1 percent of the total cases. New York state now has over 20,000 cases. More than half of all cases are in New York City. In Pennsylvania, Governor Wolf signed a "stay at home" order for 7 counties where the highest number of coronavirus cases. Pike County is not part of the order. The governor also extended school closings until at least April 6th. Pennsylvania has 644 reported cases of coronavirus. There have been 6 deaths.
