Too much T.V. and too much eating. That's what staying at home has been like for me so far. This weekend my wonderful son Matt brought over one of my favorite treats on Friday. Flying Saucer vanilla ice cream sandwiches made with custard! They were from the Riverside Creamery in Port Jervis. My daughter Kim and I finished the whole package this weekend. So my other son James brought over another package for us after work Sunday afternoon. Speaking of eating, I experimented a little on Saturday when I tried to make my take on a "Jersey Dog." We didn't have Thuman's hot dogs so I used Berk's hot dogs. Instead of cheddar cheese I used American. Then I used a brat bun for the hot dog and hash browns. My "Jersey Dogs" didn't look pretty but they were delicious. Staying inside and no having friends over has been tough on Miss Gracie. I do enjoy watching her paint and draw while she sings her songs from "Frozen." It's very tough keeping her occupied but we're all trying. I've been binge watching several T.V. Shows too. This weekend I watched the rest of "Tiger King" and "The Ranch" on Netflix. In between I watched "Two and a Half Men" reruns and "Bar Rescue." Seeing all those nice cocktails made me really want one. I was thinking about dipping my flying saucer in some bourbon but didn't. I still might though. Sunday was Palm Sunday and our church service was on Zoom. I like the fact that technology is helping us stay connected but I can't wait to worship together again in church. Check out my pictures below.
