Supermarkets and home improvement stores are still open. So it should be no surprise that's where many people are going. Without baseball and church on Easter it really didn't seem like this was the last weekend of April. It was hard to get motivated but with the help of Kim's boyfriend the outside of my house looks much nicer. We replaced the inexpensive and now mossy plastic bricks in the front yard with really nice real landscape bricks. I can't wait to see how nice everything looks with the latticework repainted and my flowers blooming. I also managed to mulch my driveway flower boxes and started to transplant the impatiens into outside pots. I also did the family's weekly food shopping at Shop Rite and Price Chopper. This time I did much better. I went in and out the right doors and didn't go the wrong way down a one way aisle. Shop Rite had corned beef left over from St. Patrick's Day on sale so I bought more. I made some nice chicken parm for Sunday dinner. In between binge watching the entire Project Innocence documentary on Netflix. I enjoyed my grand kids being adorable. Kim made her first TikTok video's with Christopher. Then Miss Gracie really raised my spirits when I saw her reading her favorite story to our dogs.
