A new Monmouth University poll says almost 1 out of every 4 Americans do not plan on getting vaccinated against COVID-19. Just over 800 people participated in the poll. Which is a pretty small sample compared to our country's population of over 300 million. Here are some of the more interesting results of the poll. 1) 50% of respondents said they wanted to be vaccinated as soon as possible. 2) Another 19% said they would let others go ahead of them. 3) 24% said they would not be getting the shot under any circumstances. 4) 42% of those not planning to get vaccinated were Republicans only 10% were Democrats. Only 29% said they expected a return to normal by this summer. Even though vaccinations are taking place now. President Biden's response to COVID -19 was given a thumbs up by 58% of respondents.
