Murphy says in person voting will return this spring

At his Monday press conference this week Governor Murphy announced in person voting would return to New Jersey this Spring. He said this can happen because COVID-19 numbers are heading in "the right direction." Local school board elections will be held on April 20th this year. Then municipal non-partisan election will happen on May 11th. Masks and social distancing will still be required. The governor has not made a decision about this June's primary election. But said he was "optimistic" about the chances in person voting could take place. New Jersey voters will still be able to request a mail in ballot "for any reason."
