What foods have the most pesticides

The Environmental Working Groups "Shoppers guide to pesticides in produce" just came out for 2021. If you like strawberries I have bad news for you. According to the latest guide fresh strawberries are the most likely fruit or vegetable to contain contaminated residue from pesticides Testing by Environmental Working Groups found 90 percent of all strawberries contained at least one pesticide. Up to 10 pesticides were found in 30 percent of the strawberries tested. This is why you should wash your fruits and vegetables! Other vegetables and fruits that contained the most pesticides were: Spinach, Kale, Collard, Mustard, Nectarines, Apples and Grapes. Sweet Corn, Onions, Asparagus and Broccoli made the list of fresh produce with the least pesticides. So here's my take. A friend of mine is a produce manager for a grocery store. He says all vegetables and fruit grow in dirt. That is not a bad thing. Pesticides prevent insects and other pests from chowing down on our food. So take what you buy home and wash it real good. Nothings going to stop me from enjoying fresh strawberries and whipped cream this summer. I must admit it is good to see kale make someone's naughty list!
