Frankie Valli was on the Today Show yesterday to talk about his new jazz album: "A Touch of Jazz." During the interview he also said he plans to go back out on tour in July. Then he confirmed Nick Jonas would be playing him in a new T.V. version of "Jersey Boys." The new "Jersey Boys" film will air on a yet un-named streaming service. Valli said he talked to Jonas last week for about 20 minutes. He plans to be on the set while filming is going on. It will be interesting to see if Jonas has to actually sing those classic Four Seasons songs in falsetto the way Frankie Valli did. I love Frankie Valli. I've seen him perform 5 times. The first time was in the early 70's with the original Four Seasons at Madison Square Garden. The last time I saw him was at Bethel Woods a few years ago. About 15 years ago he did a show at Sussex Tech and I got the chance to meet him briefly back stage. Even after all of his accomplishments he still appreciates his fans.
