Sussex County Day is returning to the fairgrounds in Augusta on Sunday September 19th. Sussex County Chamber of Commerce has announced this year's festivities will include a tribute to healthcare employees and front line workers. There will be a healthcare heroes parade, a law enforcement chicken wing eating contests, a chopped cooking competition for area chefs, a cornhole tournament and classic car show. Activities for kids include a magic show and scavenger hunt. Sussex County Day will be from noon to 5. Admission is free.
