Before I left on Friday I mentioned on the air that I would be hanging out in Hoboken with a couple of my cousins Saturday evening. That night I found out those plans would have to be postponed. So when I woke up Saturday morning I had a free day. Which felt great. At 10:30 I put a prime rib in the cock pot and straightened up the house. In the afternoon Kim and I took Gracie and Christopher to the playground at Airport Park. For a few hours they both had a great time. It was fun to watch. Gracie is so sweet with all of her friends. Christopher's climbing abilities for a 2 year old amaze me. By 4:30 the prime rib was done. After 5 hours in the slow cooker the meat fell right off the bone. We enjoyed prime rib sandwiches with brown gravy all weekend. Sunday I did have plans. I was at the fall open house at Sussex County Community College. I've been working at these open houses at S.C.C.C. for many years. Each time I go our local college has even more to offer. Frankly, I was pretty amazed at what I saw yesterday. If you are interested in finding out more about S.C.C.C. you can watch the Facebook live video on the WSUS Facebook page. When I got home my son Matt and his wife Jess stopped by. This week their new puppy got her first haircut. They both enjoy her so much. She is so adorable!
