There's been "high demand" for more pop up vaccine sites so the Sussex County Department of Health is responding. Covid-19 Vaccines, booster shots and seasonal flu shots will be available at the Byram Township Volunteer Fire Department on Route 206 this Saturday from 9 to noon. Next Saturday November 6th the same shots will be available at Knoll Heights Village on Trapasso Drive in Sparta. Lama Chaddad the Director of Sussex County's Division of Health told the New Jersey Herald they are "In the process of planning more clinics to come" because of high demand. She said updated information about when and where more pop up clinics would be open should be on the health department's website next week. The flu shots cost $25 or $50 for the higher dose. If you have any Blue Cross/Blue Shield plan or Medicare part B the flu shots are free.
