My "All set for Summer" Weekend in Pictures

This year was probably one of the easiest year's to get the house ready for summer. I've just learned to do a little each day. We actually started opening the pool last Tuesday. By Saturday the water looked great. We didn't go in because it was raining. On Sunday all I had left to do was stain the lower deck. Which I started Sunday Morning but couldn't finish because one of my daughter's dogs got on the freshly cleaned wood. Then let's just say it wasn't clean anymore. So the rest of Sunday I went to a barbecue at my cousin Tara's house in Warwick. I ate way too much but slept very well. When I got home on Monday I removed the broken deck steps and finished staining. Then when it got really hot in the afternoon. Gracie, Chris and me took our first swim of the summer in the pool. Then we had our own barbecue. I have to say the long weekend was a nice balance of getting things done and relaxing. Hopefully, the first of many very nice summer weekends to come.
