A town in New Jersey is one of the best to see fall foliage. According to a national list compiled by "Country Living," Mountain Lakes in Morris County is number 25 on the list of 55 top towns for watching the leaves change. The publication didn't say much about Mountain Lakes, only that no one would guess a suburb of New York City would have such beautiful lakeside views. The peak time to view foliage in Mountain Lakes and most of North Jersey is mid-October.
