A car accident on Route 10 in Randolph on Wednesday morning caused a power outage at the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Licensing Facility, leading to the cancellation of numerous appointments. The crash knocked out the lights and internet connection at the facility, rendering it unable to process transactions until power was restored. Customers who had their appointments canceled will be offered a courtesy return pass. The details of the accident are not yet known.

The Randolph Licensing Facility is one of the busiest MVC facilities in New Jersey, serving thousands of customers every day. The facility offers a wide range of services, including driver’s license renewal, vehicle registration, and title transfers. The power outage caused by the accident has disrupted the facility’s operations and left many customers frustrated.

According to the Motor Vehicle Commission, the facility has since had power and internet restored and is now fully operational. Customers who had their appointments canceled due to the outage were offered a courtesy return pass. The pass will allow them to reschedule their appointments without having to wait in line again.
