As the holiday season approaches, traditions that define this time of year are beginning to unfold. One such tradition, the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, is currently in need of support. The Salvation Army in New Jersey has issued a plea for volunteers to serve as bell ringers for this year’s campaign.

The Red Kettle Campaign is a critical initiative that provides essential resources for those in need. However, this year, the Salvation Army finds itself in need of more bell ringers to ensure the campaign’s success. Officials from the Salvation Army have emphasized that every coin or dollar bill donated into their kettles goes directly towards supporting local needs.

In 2022, the bell ringers and their kettles raised nearly one million dollars in New Jersey alone.

The Salvation Army is encouraging individuals to step forward and volunteer their time to this worthy cause. Registration to become a bell ringer is available on the Salvation Army’s website. By volunteering, individuals will be contributing to a tradition that not only defines the holiday season but also makes a tangible difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
