In April, there was a terrible hoarding case right here in Sussex County, where dozens of cats and dogs (some alive, some sadly deceased) were found stuffed into a pickup truck. Shelters all over rushed to help; Father John's helped 3 cats and 6 dogs from that situation find loving forever homes, but there were still more who needed help. Frances was rescued right from that truck with three other cats by some good-hearted people who wanted to help them find homes. Unfortunately, they were not able to do so on their own, so they reached out to us for help, and we were able to take Frances and Princess (who has since found her home). Now it's Frances' turn! His past has not left him unscathed; Frances does have feline herpes, meaning his eyes are always a little teary and may have some discharge. We have him on an eye ointment and dietary supplements to help with this! Despite his past though, he is so incredibly friendly and affectionate! He lets you hold him and he loves attention! Frances would love to have a playful kitty to go home to! Here, he loves to try to involve the other cats in his free roam room in his antics, but not everyone wants to play, so he'd really love to have a friend who shares his enthusiasm! He has lived with dogs before, though not in ideal conditions; even so, we think he'd be happy in any home - kids, cats, and dogs alike! Give Frances the forever home he's been looking for - the one he deserves!
