Just three months after shuttering all its stores, BuyBuyBABY is back in business, reopening several locations in New Jersey and across the country. The baby products retailer has so far reopened eleven stores, four of which are located in the Garden State, in Bridgewater, Woodbridge, Paramus, and Cherry Hill.

The revival of BuyBuyBABY comes after its former parent company, Bed, Bath and Beyond, declared bankruptcy, leading to the closure of all BuyBuyBABY stores. However, the brand was given a new lease of life when Dream On Me, a crib and mattress retailer, acquired the BuyBuy Baby intellectual property, digital properties, and 11 store leases. The new owners believe in the value of in-person shopping for baby products, a sentiment that has driven their ambitious plans.

Over the next three years, BuyBuyBABY plans to open more than 100 additional stores, offering strollers, car seats, furniture, toys, clothing, and more. The company has also relaunched their website and a fully ownable registry experience where customers can directly add and purchase items. However, gift card balances from preexisting digital and physical gift cards expired under previous ownership.
