The Harlem Globetrotters, a globally renowned sports franchise, will soon establish a historic sports residency at the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This marks the first sports residency in history, with the Globetrotters set to play 16 live games at the mall from August 16 to August 25.

The ten-day event will also feature fan engagements, kids skill clinics, exclusive merchandise, and unique programs designed to celebrate the culture, history, and fun of the franchise. The Globetrotters will face their legendary rivals, the Washington Generals, during the games.

"The Harlem Globetrotters have a long and storied history of ‘firsts’ in its almost 100 years of existence and we continue that tradition by partnering with American Dream; making history by creating the first-ever sports residency,” said Keith Dawkins, President of the Harlem Globetrotters and Herschend Entertainment Studios.

Bryan Gaus, senior vice president and general manager of American Dream, echoed Dawkins' sentiments, stating that the Globetrotters, like American Dream, embody community, entertainment, and fun, making them perfect partners for this groundbreaking residency.

Tickets for the games are now on sale. Additional details and special events tied to the residency will be announced in the coming weeks.
