Fans of the 1996 comedy "Happy Gilmore" have a unique opportunity to appear in the highly anticipated sequel. The film, set to begin shooting in September, will be filmed in various locations across New Jersey, including Bergen, Essex, Monmouth, Morris, and Somerset Counties. Grant Wilfley Casting, the talent agency behind the film, is seeking local extras to appear in the movie.

The open casting call will take place on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency in Morristown. No acting experience is required to participate. Those selected as extras will be paid up to $216 per day.

According to Grant Wilfley Casting's website, extras must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, have no allergies to wool, and be okay with receiving a period-appropriate haircut and facial hair. They should also be okay working around smoke. Selected extras will need to attend a paid costume fitting in Jersey City, NJ, prior to the shoot date.
