My "Catch up and Chill" Weekend in Pictures

I spent most of last week trying to decide if I should go to my 45th high school reunion or not. It was a 2 and a half hour drive each way and I don't see well at night. By Thursday I made the decision to take a weekend to stay home and relax. For my North Bergen High School Class of 79 friends I missed seeing you. I will be sure to make it to our 50th. My step brother found an old picture of me from 1979 last week. I'll share it here because I missed the reunion. As far as relaxing goes. I did slow down my pace a little but did get some small things done. The biggest small project was staining my front porch. I'm glad that's done. I got up early Sunday and mowed the lawn too. Doing nothing always makes me want to eat. So Denise and I went out to dinner Saturday Night. I enjoyed another turkey club at Perkins nearby. It was a nice change from my usual cheeseburger. Sunday morning I made French Toast from scratch. Fresh eggs and special French Toast bread make all the difference. Sunday night I made a nice meatloaf. There was a little comedy thanks to one of the cats. In addition to our big dog Millie we have three cats. One cat is totally my daughter's and doesn't like men or other cats. Early Saturday morning I got up and found Tofu sleeping in the living room. A rare appearance outside Kim or Gracie's Room. I managed to get a picture before she jumped behind the chair when I tried to pet her. Cats are sure interesting creatures!
