Pike County Humane Society Appeals for Donations

Dogs behind bars at the animal shelter. Sad eyes of dogs

The Pike County Humane Society, located in Shohola, Pennsylvania, is appealing to the public for donations of food, toys, and cleaning supplies throughout October. The shelter is specifically requesting Purina One dry and canned dog food, Purina One dry cat and kitten food, Friskies canned cat food, as well as dog and cat treats and toys. Cleaning supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, Dawn dish detergent, and antibacterial hand soap are also needed.

The Pike County Public Library is facilitating the supply drive, with drop-off points at both its Dingman and Milford branches. According to the Pike County Courier, the library requests that all donated items be new, unopened, and not expired.

The Pike County Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and welfare of animals in the Pike County area. Those interested in making a donation or adopting a pet can contact the shelter directly.
