New Jersey Transit (NJ Transit) is spreading holiday cheer with a series of deals for its riders this festive season. The rail agency is offering its Family SuperSaver deal, which allows up to two children aged 11 and younger to travel free with each fare-paying adult. This offer is valid through 2 a.m. on Monday, January 6th, according to an official press release from NJ Transit.

In addition to the Family SuperSaver, NJ Transit is also offering a "Bring a Friend for the Holidays - Buy One, Gift One" deal. Customers can use a unique holiday promo code when traveling round-trip using the NJ Transit Mobile App to "Buy One, Gift One…Free!". All four one-way tickets must be activated on the same day and are not valid for travel to/from Newark Liberty International Airport, or on Metro North and SEPTA services. This promotion is valid through January 5th.

NJ Transit customers can also use promo codes to receive a 40% discount on round-trip rides when buying tickets to Philadelphia and Atlantic City using the NJ Transit Mobile App. Each code can only be redeemed once per customer during the promotion, which also runs through January 5th.

These holiday deals are part of NJ Transit's efforts to encourage more people to use public transportation during the holiday season. Full details on all promotions and holiday travel destinations are available at njtransit.com/holiday.
