The Stroudsburg Little League in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, has received a $100,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. State Representative Tarah Probst helped secure the funding, which will be used to refurbish Robertson Field, a beloved community site near Morey Elementary School that has been in use since 1950.

The grant will fund essential renovations to ensure the field remains a safe and enjoyable space for young athletes. Planned upgrades include improvements to the playing surface, protective netting, and the surrounding fence. Representative Probst expressed her joy in supporting the project, stating, "This field means a lot to everybody in this community, and to have it be refurbished and have a new place for the kids to play baseball for Stroudsburg Little League, it just makes my heart warm so I’m so happy to help."

The improvements aim to enhance the experience for both players and families, preserving Robertson Field as a cherished local landmark.
