Wendy's is reportedly making major changes to its iconic Frosty in the coming months.

Food bloggers @snachwithzach and @sodaseekers shared a joint Instagram reel revealing plans to introduce "Frosty Swirls" and "Frosty Fusions," citing "an anonymous source." The Frosty Swirl will reportedly allow customers to add caramel, strawberry or brownie batter to any Frosty and will be offered for a limited-time beginning in April.

The Frosty Fusion will reportedly allow customers to mix in "sauce and various sweet treats" to the base chocolate or vanilla Frosty, similar to the McDonald's McFlurries and Dairy Queen Blizzards, beginning in mid-May.

“The potential of this is massive,” @snachwithzach said of the reported moves in the Instagram reel. “The biggest question I have is how this is going to affect limited-time offerings."

“One of the most popular frozen desserts in fast food, the Frosty has gotten most of its updates in the form of limited-time flavor changes, often using the existing Vanilla flavor as the base for some of its more rambunctious options including Pumpkin Spice, Orange Dreamsicle, and Salted Caramel,” the Instagram reel's caption states. “It’s a move that’s highly competitive, and some might argue much overdue.”

Wendy's hasn't yet confirmed the changes, however, @snachwithzach confirmed that the source is "very reliable" in the Instagram reel.
