I find a new survey rather upsetting that 65% of women are too intimidated by the gym. One of the many reasons I've done workout videos over the past year is to show that gyms and workouts don't have to be intimidating. The majority of my workouts were my first time trying a new activity, which was by design. I wanted to show that trying new things can be fun, help your growth, and also if you're not perfect the world doesn't stop spinning. I've had my share of epic fails, but they were all fun and usually not too painful. My favorite tip they give you for getting over intimidation is practicing some moves at home first. I've done that myself.
