When a boy as affectionate as Meeko is found outside, you know he must have had a home at some point. Although we'll never know his story, we are thankful for the Good Samaritan who helped bring him inside - but now he's ready for his forever family! Meeko is around 5 years old, and it's truly a mystery as to why he was outside. In fact, the people who found him would have kept him, but they had a 19 year old cat who they needed to prioritize. But during the time they had him, they noticed that he gets along with everyone! They had grandkids as young as 5 who would love on him and even pick him up - but what he really loved was laying in their lap. Meeko absolutely loves human interaction - he's a lazy boy who likes to lounge, but once you go over to him he perks up and immediately starts purring. We think he'd do fine in any home - he had some exposure to a dog and gets along with the other cats in our free roam room. Like all cats he needs an adjustment period but then he'll be your best friend and lapwarmer!
