Comfortable pajamas are nice but maybe there's a better option. According to the experts at the Los Angeles Sleep Institute many people wake up at night because they're over heated. Skipping the PJ's will result in a cooler body temperature so you are more likely to sleep better.
Loosing the pajamas also has other benefits. Sleep expert Neil Robinson says it's a "stress buster." You'll decrease cortisol levels and balance your melatonin.
It's good for your skin too because sleeping in the buff improves circulation.
You'll also be happier. A study from 2014 shows 57 percent of couples who slept without PJ's were happy. Only 48 percent of PJ wearers were happy.
Not every living situation allows for pajama-less sleeping but if you can there are benefits.
