A few weeks- a small gift and pick up the drinks when you go out to celebrate.
A few months-it's starting to get serious but you might not want to go all out for a fancy dinner. Maybe concert tickets that cost between 50 and 100 bucks.
Six Months and up. You're official. Go for the fancy dinner and drop some money on a nice gift if you can afford it. Pick up something your sweetie said they wanted or liked. Keep it to around 100 bucks.
A year and up. Give something personal and substantial. Do we have to tell you this? Make sure you include a nice card and heart felt message.
