To be perfectly honest nothing overly exciting happened this weekend. Who says every weekend has to be overly exciting anyway? The weekend started Friday Night with my church youth group. We took about 10 kids bowling in Port Jervis. The bowling alley there is very nice. My grand daughter Gracie is too young to be in the youth group but she came with me. Along with her mom. The youth group kids were so welcoming and couldn't wait to help her bowl. It was heart warming to see. She had a great time. The pizza was delicious too.
On Saturday I worked on several projects. We finished the main deck planking at my townhouse in Hamburg. It was great to get that done. Then in the afternoon I picked 8 tomatoes from the garden and made fresh Marinara sauce. My family couldn't decide what was better just dipping their Italian Bread in it or having it with pasta.
Late Saturday Night my son Matt and his girlfriend Jess stopped by after spending 5 days in Turks and Caicos. They make such a nice couple. I know flying is very safe but I'm still nervous when they're in the air. It was great to see them. They bought Gracie her first real tie die shirt while they were there.
