If I could sum up 2018 in a sentence it was all about "getting closer to my friends and family." Early in the year WSOU Seton Hall's Radio Station celebrated 70 years on the air. That's where it all started for me. The highlight of the evening was seeing my long time friend Frank Garrity get inducted into Seton Hall's Broadcasting Hall of Fame.
I enjoyed so many wonderful days with Gracie too. We went to Space Farms in July, The New Jersey State Fair and Mountain Creek in August. Apple picking and Heaven Hill Farm's Great Pumpkin Festival in October. On Christmas Day the whole family was together in Matamoras.
Then there was my trip to the west coast to see my cousins Roger, John and Bronywn. Going to Dodger Stadium with then was a great time. I was also there in Warwick, New York when two of my cousins Elaine and Tara saw each other for the first time in 35 years. Then I had even more fun with my cousins in New York City two weeks ago.
My son James graduated from Sussex County Community College too. It was a very busy year!
