In the up coming 2022 season of The Simpsons how the show is able to predict future events will be revealed. In an interview with "Deadline" Showrunner Matt Selman said: "We have another crazy conceptual episode that explains how The Simpsons knows the future." He says the episode will have "Lots of crazy stuff in it." The new season of The Simpsons starts Sunday September 25th on Fox. Some of the events foreshadowed include: Donald Trump's run for President, The COVID-19 pandemic and The Bengals winning the 2022 Super Bowl.
